Assistance through IFOs in Indonesia

JBIC, through its International Financial Operations (IFOs), is extending a significant assistance to Indonesia not only for boosting the bilateral trade and investment but also for Japan to secure mineral resources. Indonesia ranks top in the IFOs total loans and investments outstanding. Besides, the export loans that have been largely extended for the projects in Indonesia, untied loans to support the economic reforms and investment loans to Japanese investors in Indonesia have significantly increased in the recent years, particularly after the Asian economic crisis.
